Mpox is Back: Are We Ignoring a New Health Threat?

Introduction : Mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, has been causing global concern as a re-emergent disease. The disease has gained momentum quickly and, particularly in Africa, presents a grave public health risk. Its mitigation and control will be challenging without the use of vaccines since its distribution is time-barred to reach people at the most crucial times, along with the lack of confidence between healthcare providers and receivers.
